Heat, cold, quiet, repeat. Step out of the outdoor barrel sauna into the crisp lake air, then sink into your private hot tub as the trees around Lake Alpine turn gold and red. Back inside, the gas fireplace is on, the hanging swing is calling, and there's a mug waiting at the coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar. Evenings end on the fire pit swings, firewood included, with the stars coming out over the water.
It's a quiet, 50-acre no-wake lake just outside Wautoma, with your private shoreline only a few steps from the door. Come as a couple for an anniversary or a long-overdue reset, or bring a few friends for a wellness weekend. Bring your dog, too: a bed, toys and treats will be waiting.
When you do want to go out, classic supper clubs like Moose Inn and Silvercryst and local coffee shops are close by. And in winter, the sauna and hot tub run all season, with Nordic Mountain about 10 minutes away.

COME BACK IN SUMMER
From May through September, a 6-person pontoon boat is included (drivers must be 23 or older with a boater safety certificate), along with 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards and a rowboat. Lake Alpine is home to largemouth bass, bluegill, northern pike and yellow perch.

- Primary renter must be 23 or older
- After booking, you'll get a link to sign our rental agreement and place a $300 refundable security deposit hold, both required before your door code is activated. The hold is released 5 days after checkout.

Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
Rates are for the whole home, for up to 6 guests, and change by season and day of the week. Through Tratar Retreats, we've turned that passion into cozy lake houses where families and friends can slow down, make memories and enjoy the natural beauty of central Wisconsin, just like our own family does. We stock every home the way we'd want it for ourselves, from the coffee bar to the dog treats, so you can show up and relax.
